2010!

Let me tell you why this picture is funny. -Lyndon is no where near being devilish, his wife however is.

As for 2010, bring it on! Whoa- this year is the year. I mean it marks many things. For instance-

-Lyndon and My 10 year High School Reunion
-I, Missy, will turn 29! This is my last year to be in my 20's! This thought alone causes deep reflection. Such as, my mother had 4 kids by my age, who's husband, which happens to be my Dad had an -income-money in the bank-their money in the bank.

Now, now, I do not regret any gallivanting I did prior to having kids and getting married (not in that order), but I do feel sort of behind. That may be due to the fact that I always thought I was going to have 7 kids. What?! Yeah, seven. I really have no clue what we'll end up with. I'd like to stay sane and NICE, so 2 may be it. Okay maybe 3-we'll see.

So things this lil' Tyler family has to look forward to this year:

-Lyndon taking his first set of "The Boards" dah, da dun.
-Family visiting, yes? Rich, Janae, G-ma Becky, Maybe my parents when their done playing all over the rest of the world (not like you have to mom and dad). Anyone else? Friends welcome too of course.
-Lyndon entering "3rd year" at the end of June! Blah! This is cool and sad at the same time. Cool because we, yes, we are moving right along, but sad because we'll pretty much be kissing Lyndon good bye as he starts up crazy schedules at the Hospital-all nighters, all dayers, tripple dipple dayers + nighters. Waah.
- And that's pretty much all I can think of for now.

As for the Sydney requests- Here she is:

Christmas low down

Christmas Eve

Christmas was great. Claire was in heaven and was on a huge sugar high from her stocking treats that we foolishly let her dip into before breakfast (mental note, sugar travels faster through the blood stream when there is nothing else in the stomach and causes the Christmas Crazies). Sydney sat in her lil' chair and took in all the excitement with her bobbling little head and cute little tongue that can't stay in her mouth.

Here are my favorite gifts CB got:

The playhouse that I mentioned I was making (it is not as good or detailed as the gal I copied, but I only had so much patience and our table is smaller).

you flip the knot hole up to talk to the person inside

The rose Lyndon stayed up Christmas Eve carving for Claire. She saw mine a month or so ago and I told her that her pops made it for me. She then one morning went up to Lydon and said, "oh, Daddy make me a rose please!"

Its hard to see all the detail, but rest assure, it's good.

We also had our good friends the Bravims join us for Christmas dinner and the next day's activities. It was really fun to see and get to know Christina's Dad. Such a good family.

(note: Bruno claims he will be a good Uncle not Dad , but I beg to differ, he fed and coo-ed Sydney like any sweet Daddy would, see him holding her)

And, here is Claire at the end of today. Ah, Sleeeepzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Sock monkey- check, baby doll- check, sheep- check, blanket- check....

And for those wanting more pictures of Sydney, well, I've got a lot of videos, but blogger just doesn't want to download them right now and I just don't want to make it (being 11pm at night), so farewell for now and come again to get to know Sydney Poo, Gweedy, or pydney sue as we lovingly like to call her.

Happy New Year to come!!

When the little peeps go to Bed the Big peeps play

We have had some great storms, bringing some great snow. I have LOVED playing in it this year. Claire is big enough to keep her balance walking through the snow and play with me and I am not pregnant-hence, I don't have to worry about falling and I have energy to PLAY! I stick Sydney in bed for her nap and its CB and mom time.

Sunday night Lyndon and I put the girls to bed and called over some friends to help us build an igloo. We also built a hugemongo snowman as well. Our neighbor from India helped us with that one. He couldn't believe we were trying to put such a large ball on top of the other He kept telling Lyndon that he was going to break his back.

It now has a carrot nose and cranberry smile and eyes, but I'm too lazy to take another picture and download it. Just imangine it looks really happy and snowman-like.

peek inside ....I look like a baby in a bonnet..up close and personal

with flash

and then of course without the flash...you got to get the whole feel of this you know.

And outside. I think the air was really humid. I held my breath many times taking this pic and it always turned out mistified. Cool effect though.

Check out what I am making the girls for Christmas

A fabric playhouse that fits over the kitchen table. I am using all my random fabric, which I have quite a bit of. People give me their fabric when they move out of this college villiage, so I have a lot to play with.

homemadebyjill also happens to be one of my favorite idea spots. That and the pottery barn kids magazine. I love stealing ideas. Whatch out. ;)

Merry Holidays and Happy Christmas!
