Latest Weekend Adventure.

We hiked to Boston Lot Lake this Saturday. It's about a mile and a half hike right behind our housing complex, so no driving was needed to get started on this adventure (I love where we live location -wise). So the below picture is me showing you our backyard, essentially.

Claire can, of course, never get enough of the camelback.
These berries are EVERYWHERE! I have thought they were currents, but after tasting them yesterday, I'm sure there not.
Our "new" Trek baby backpack. My sweet/awesome neighbor/ward member is always giving us everything we could ever need/want and gave this to us free of charge!
Boston Lot Lake. They say Moose frequent the area...

Claire has found her running legs!

Me trying to be creative taking pictures of the one and only.

Who also happens to know she is the one and only. Ah we love her.

pickin blueberries!

We had a grad ol' time picking blueberries on this quaint property next to the Connecticut river. There were tons of varieties as well as mosquitoes, but I am enjoying eating my blueberry shakes and muffins as I scratch myself to death. Only $2/ lb and we pick 5 lbs and Claire ate another pound on her own as we picked.

Resting and enjoying the view after picking.

A Historical Week.

These are pictures of us scouting out (and not in any order) the Sugarbush Maple and cheese farm, Shaker village, Plymouth, and Boston's freedom trail. We finally got our "new" car and promptly put over 400 miles on it in two days (Claire is going a bit crazy from her disrupted nap schedule).

We have had a blast. It is really fun to be around so many different sites to see and to be able to see it all with Lyndon before we kiss him goodbye for school.

Highlights? Hmmm, all of it. However, I have discovered that I love, love, love aged (4 years) horseraddish chedder. The after-taste of it is the best. Sort of like wasabi.

Boston was not only fun because of the history, but also remembering how fun it was with the Oscarson cousins. However, I realized that I missed a few things when I was eleven, so seeing it again at 27 was even better. We have yet to go to China town there (stay tuned).

On another note, our Bishop was President Calrson's AP in Tiawan and is a relative of Dick and Ann Finlacesen (no clue how to spell that), who are friends of G-parents Stubbs....small world in the church.
