Numero Dois

The news is real, but the picture is a fake. We get our real ultra-sound January 20th, so stay tuned...because we will find out the sex (I just can't wait...ask Lyndon, I love opening Christmas presents early too).
This pregnancy has been TONS easier than Claire's was at first. Emotionally for the number one reason (I think Lyndon has been praying that I won't go insane like my job I had whilst pregnant w/ Claire nearly drove me to), number two reason is because I love LOVE the unisome/vit B6 combo that nigh kills the nausea. So it has been good, not the best, but good. I hate being pregnant, but maybe, just maybe I've been a little more righteous this time around and God has blessed me...actually I think Lyndon has been praying really hard this round so that we won't throw his really awesome study groove off. :) But besides hating being pregnant, I Love being a Mom and can't wait to see the new dynamics this other little one will bring to our family.

HO HO HO!!

I love our white Christmas, having Lyndon home all to myself(...and Claire) for two weeks, our Christmas tree, letters from family and friends, delivered goodies from neighbors, music, movies in bed because Lyndon doesn't have to study, and hummm- just all of it! (yes, my head is cut off of the above picture-we were just goofing off).
Below is our Polar Express adventure. The train was authentically old and the entertainment was great as well as the company. The "partners group" paid for our excursion (meaning the med school paid) and it was well worth it.

You could even feel the spring in the seat, that's how authentic the caboose was. :)

I love his taped on stash.

Our view.

Hot Chocolate!

At the North Pole. The kids all gathered together to listen and see the Story of the Polar Express and also sing carols. Oh, at look at Santa.

Claire and I both got a silver bell.

Claire with her loot. She also got a cookie, and a conductor ducky.
Merry Christmas!!!!!

New England's Winter Wonderland.

This is the candy representation of what our place looks like... Notice how Claire doesn't penetrate the snowy surface...the footprint next to hers is mine.
It is icy cold and then very wet snow, then icy, then wet...not your typical fluffy Utah snow.

I heard this tree branch fall at 4am this morning. It luckily missed the car, the bigger branch that is. The smaller one on top did do a little damage. We're lucky that we don't have any trees over our car...but then again, I wouldn't mind it getting smashed to pieces so that we could get some money out of it... the power was out about 10 hours after that, but not due to THIS tree branch....maybe.

Claire loves to hold and eat her own cup-sized apple sauce. She also has this favorite hat that she randomly puts on every day.
And yes, it is cold in the house too. Gotta keep costs down...don't worry, Claire wears layers and sleeps in three pairs of pajamas.

waiting for me to finish shoveling so she could go inside.

...may Lyndon get a residency in California, Texas, Florida, anywhere warm! (we do love it here though).
Merry Christmas!
